This naturally sweet herb is used for weight loss and anti-aging. It is a powerful antioxidant.

Stevia has no known side effects.

Currently the FDA prohibits the use of Stevia as a sweetener in food products and beverages. To elaborate stevia based sweeteners created by Coca Cola and Pepisco have been approved by the FDA for commercialization. In 1991 the FDA labelled Stevia as an “unsafe food additive.” Around 2008 the FDA issued a “no obligation” letter to including stevia as a food additive in time for the release of Truvia(Coca-Cola and Cargill) and Purvia (Pepsico).

Make a calming tea using our organic Red Clover.  Add to your favorite tea or drink plain.  You can also use this to make a calming toner.

Red Clover is known as one of the most useful remedies for children with skin problems. It may be used in any case of childhood eczema. Useful for the treatment of other chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis.

 

TONER

Make a calming mild toner by adding the leaves to mineral water or your favorite toner blend. 

You can also make a tea and strain the water.  Cool the water and add to your favorite toner blend.

 

Warnings: Red clover should not be taken by pregnant or nursing women, as the effects on developing fetus and infants is not determined. There are some studies that suggest taking red clover may affect fetal development. It is also recommended that you do not take red clover while on blood thinning medication.Dilute consumption of Red Clover by adding a green or red tea to your blend at a 1-5 ratio.  OR Make a 4-5 day supply (1 teaspoon steep dark in a cup then add to 1 liter of preffered liquid – still water/carbonated water / tea). Store in refrigerator.

Super Leg Stretch 

1. Sitting on the mat, extend the legs open.

2. Place both hands behind your hips and push the hips forward a little bit to open the legs / hips even further.

3. Keeping the back as tall as possible, open the arms to second position and reach the upper body towards the right side (keeping the arms in second) and then over to the left going, back and forth to really work on relaxing the legs and hip flexors.

4. When ready, reach over the head with one arm, taking the arm closest to the leg in front of the body into a modified fourth position as you stretch over the leg.

5. Roll forward, extending the arm forward and around with the body, then come back up to center with the arms open. Repeat on the other side

Rhus coriaria

Used as a mild diuretic and laxative.
