Preparation - Before you start

When you embark on a detox program you want to be take a few moments to get ready. To look at your home kitchen and see what foods and condiments and groceries that you need to let go of so that you are in alignment with the "new" person you are and will become.

Eat with love and embrace food gently. It is not a time to gorge and eat as those last comfort food It is a time to eat well so the cleanse will not be "painful" in the first few days.

It is those habits of eating like "my last cheat before I detox" can defeat the process. Our mind is powerful. Enjoy each day of the detox like a bright ray of sunshine. See the light cleansing all your organs and restoring this to their healthy state.

Pre-Detox Herbal Tea Ideas

It is good to start your cleansing program with nourishment to strengthen your system. Prior to starting your cleanse. Drink a mild antioxidant & immunity blend regularly 1 week prior to your cleanse.

Things to know

Drink at least 1.5 liters of water per day during a cleansing program. Please consult a doctor before starting cleansing regime, especially if any preexisting internal problems.

If during the detox you get hungry, feel tired, headachy, have some other symptoms... Call an expert (see contact information below) and to help you decide what is the right protocol for you today. If you need to add a little more protein beans, edmame, sprouts, nuts we can adjust for who you are. If you are doing a little more exercise or physical activity on your detox we want to make sure you have nutrition to have the energy to get through the day.

Food ideas during your cleanse

Morning
1) Selected herbal cleanse
2) Fresh citrus juice (e.g. orange, grape fruit, .... )
3) Slices of apple
4) 1 x up full of unsalted nuts
5) 1 x cup fresh juice (fruit)
6) 1 x cup fresh juice (veggie)

Snack
1) 1 x cup of fruit (e.g. grapes, sliced melon, berries, ...)
2) ½ x cup of almonds

Lunch
1) Bowl of salad (prefer homemade dressing like lemon and EVOO)
2) 1 x cup of grains (i.e. quinoa)
3) 1 cup of fresh berries
4) 1 cup of antioxidant tea

Snack
1) 1 x cup of fresh fruit
2) ½ x cup of almonds

Dinner
1) 1 x cup of with 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk (sugar free)
2) 1 x cup fresh juice (fruit)
3) 1 x cup fresh juice (veggie)

Foods to avoid
Fried & greasy
Preservatives
Starches
Meat
Foods with hormones

Food to add
Fresh whole un-cooked fruits and veggies
Grains
Nuts, beans, legumes, sprouts...
Water/ tea
Fresh juices
