1oz Common Fumitory Origin: Europe Common Use: There is a German E commission monograph for fumitory that lists its uses for spastic discomfort of the gallstones, the bile ducts, and the gastrointestinal tracts. Used to treated acne and other skin problems. How to use: 1/2 bag into brown bag for added energy and muscle support. Infusion: pour a cup of boiling water onto 1 - 2 teaspoonfuls of the dried herb and let infuse for 10-15 minutes. This may be drunk freely, but for skin problems it should be drunk at least three times a day. Warnings: Fumitory is an herbal energy stimulant in controlled dosages and in large dosages can have the opposite effect behaving as a sedative. Avoid excessive use.
