Used as an antiviral to treat psoriasis, taken orally to relieve ulcers, colds, flu, sore throat, and yeast infections, and tropical diseases, including malaria, schistosomiasis, and tropical fevers. It is added to ointments to treat psoriasis, and taken orally to relieve ulcers.

No known contraindications.  Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.
