Common uses: to treat nausea, digestive problems, circulation and arthritis. Also used to treat nausea caused during pregnancy or motion sickness. Ginger is used to improve circulation and stomach cramps. Considered generally safe for consumption as a food. How to use: For tea steep 1 teaspoon in hot water. Drink up to 4x daily. Warnings: Ginger increases circulation and is considered a herbal anticoagulant in large dosages. Do not consume prior to surgery. Stop consuming at least 2 weeks prior to surgery. May cause hurt burn in some people. Not recommended for people with gallstones.
