Supple Skin recommends 1 capsule x (1 to 2) day preferably in the morning.  As of current, customer have not complained of counter-indications when consumed as recommended daily.  There has been no reports of dependencies to this herbs even after months of use.  It is safe and even recommended that you stop and start -- for example,  take daily during the week and not over weekends OR consume during periods of high stress.

Herbalist recommendation: Should not be consumed for long periods of time and is better reserved for the times of need.  Botanical safety guidelines in the US and Germany have suggested that Ashwaganda may be a mild abortifacient and it is not recommended for pregnant women. 

Please note,  there is no-documented side effects for human consumption in moderation.  Many of these studies were done in high dosages on animals. Although this herb is used to promote fertility among its many benefits it is generally not recommended for pregnant woman in the US.  In India some Ayuvedic specialist with great knowledge of this herb may recommend this to pregnant women to calm the fetus -- please consult an Ayuvedic specialist to help prepare this herb for this kind of usage.
